Winning Radio Day Team Special Luncheon
The winning Radio Day team, the Sly Foxes, will have their special lunch on Wednesday, May 27. Team members will still have to pay for lunch, it will just be a special dish that day for that team. Sly Fox team members are: Ellen Bouchard, Reg Carter, Anne Cutaiar, Bob Donlan, Ewa Jankowska, Jody Maloy, Tony Searing, and Roger VanGuilder.
New Member Orientation
New member orientation will be held on Friday, May 29, at 8 a.m. at 105 West Bay Plaza, Plattsburgh. Attendance is required for Red to Blue badge.
Annual Rotary Fishing Tournament
Mark your calendars for the Annual Rotary Fishing Tournament! This annual event will take place June 5 - 7, 2015. We are still looking for volunteers for the weigh stations for the weekend. The tournament is a great time and you have the opportunity to know your fellow Rotarians so if you are able to volunteer some time please let Cathy Forget know!
RYLA
The RYLA candidates for 2015 have been selected through the join efforts of the two Plattsburgh Rotary Clubs. The Plattsburgh Sunrise Club will be sponsoring: Trevor Cross from Peru High School and Koby Coplen from NAC. Our club will be sponsoring: Erin Backlas from Peru HS, Emma Webster from Saranac HS and Megan Frederick from Beekmantown HS. The RYLA event is going to be June 26, 27 and 28. We hope to have the students speak to our club at an August meeting about their experiences.
