Alissa VanNortwick was inducted into the Rotary Club of Plattsburgh at the April 1 meeting. Alissa is the office manager at CB Electric and looks forward to participating in the club’s community service activities. Her sponsor is Cliff Berg. Alissa and Cliff are enrolled under the CB Electric corporate membership.
Our club meets at 12 p.m. Wednesdays for lunch in the dining hall at the MHAB Life Skills Campus at 14 Dormitory Drive (off Idaho Avenue) on the former Plattsburgh Air Force Base. Each week we plan future programs and projects and listen to a speaker discuss some interesting topics. Please come and join us to experience what Rotary is really all about!
Kelly McGinn was inducted into the Rotary club at the Mar. 11th meeting. Kelly is an independent consultant and speech language pathologist. She is interested in getting involved in Rotary and the club's community service activities.
She wrote in her membership application form, “I have 33 years experience working with special needs students, assisting with improving communication. My time is now flexible, being retired and ready to give back through volunteering. I am compassionate, dedicated and thorough. I am looking forward to giving through Rotary.”

Justin Bresette is an account executive with New York Life Insurance Co. A volunteer for several fundraisers, Justin is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructor and has taught women's self defense seminars. He looks forward to joining our club to serve our community and its needs through Rotary. Justin is sponsored by Bob Parks.

Barry Fauteux is a branch manager with NBT Bank. He is a board member of the ARC Foundation and is active with branch fundraisers and donating to local causes. Audra Squier (L) is a technical solutions consultant at Twinstate Technologies. A board secretary with Heart Well Homestead -- a Plattsburgh-based residential program empowering pregnant and parenting mothers by supporting their physical, emotional, educational and spiritual needs so they can thrive, Audra also is an active member of the Saranac Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization. Katie Kalluche is a recruiter with Coryer Staffing. A former member of our club (2014 - 2022), she previously served on the club’s board of directors and as treasurer (2017 - 2022). She was also active in several committees, including service, bedrace, and fishing classic. Katie is excited that her employer has enthusiastically encouraged her involvement with Rotary and looks forward to rejoining the club as a Rotarian. Katie is sponsored by Dana Isabella.

They are Sandra Ghelman and Erin Allison.
Sandra Ghelman is the Programs Coordinator at Finding Our Voices. A volunteer member of the Plattsburgh City Charter Commission, Sandra is also secretary for the Glasgow/Oak Street Family School Association, President of the Stafford Middle School Faculty School Association and parent rep on the District-Wide Educational Improvement Committee for the Plattsburgh City School District. Sandra's sponsor is Sally McSweeney.

Erin Allison is a Senior Associate and Project Architect at AES Northeast in Plattsburgh. She actively volunteers with several other events and programs, including the Terra Northeast Regional STEM Fair, Math Counts, Plattsburgh Green Up Day, Habitat for Humanity, Food Shelf and Toys for Kids. Erin's sponsor is Sandy Young-Brady. The two AES Northeast employees will participate in the company's corporate membership program offered by the Rotary Club of Plattsburgh.

They are Erin Gay and Melissa Gardner.
Erin Gay is the Graphic Design Manager at the Adirondack Pennysaver. She has been a youth softball coach for the past two years and has helped with the Big Change Roundup. A former volunteer firefighter, Erin is eager to join the Rotary club's service projects and contribute to our fellowship.
Melissa Gardner is an Executive Assistant at the Adirondack Pennysaver. She handles Accounts Payable and Customer Service. Melissa has done extensive world travel while employed as an Executive Coordinator for EMEA Sales. She has a strong desire to contribute to community service with the Rotary club.
Three Rotarians were inducted into the (Noon) Rotary Club of Plattsburgh on Wednesday, Sept. 3.
They are Jamie Durivage, Emily Moore, and Brian Gidman.
Jamie Durivage is the Theatre Manager at the Strand Center for the Arts in Plattsburgh. His skill set centers around event planning and coordination. Jamie has been active for many years helping plan and execute community events and fundraisers for various organizations and causes. He finds satisfaction in helping those in need in the community. Jamie’s sponsor is Rotarian Megan Charland. Jamie and Megan will be part of the Strand Center for the Arts corporate membership group with Rotary.
Emily Moore is the Assistant Vice President and Business Banking Relationship Manager at Arrow Bank. Emily has been involved with the JCEO Backpack Program, CVPH Wish Fund Committee and has participated in various 5K community fundraisers. She is eager to engage with our club and its community service projects. Emily’s sponsor is Rotarian Forrest Edwards.
Brian Gidman is a Corporate Banking Associate at Arrow Bank. He has been active in fundraisers for the American Cancer Society and is eager to help with our club’s community service projects. Brian’s sponsor is also Rotarian Forrest Edwards. In addition, Emily and Brian will be members of Arrow Bank’s corporate membership group with Rotary.
Many people join Rotary as a means of "paying back" for the professional success they have achieved. They are looking for ways to help others. When you join Rotary, you play a role in helping the club achieve its community and worldwide goals. This is done both through involvement in community projects and financial support. Rotary club membership is a great way to mix with community leaders from all walks of life and to hear outstanding speakers each week.
