MEETINGS VIRTUAL THROUGH HOLIDAY SEASON
Due to the uptick in cases and new guidelines, the Board of Directors has decided to make all meetings through the end of the year virtual. We will reevaluate at the beginning of the year. If you need any assistance joining the meeting via Zoom, please reach out to Ellen and we will arrange for a Rotarian to assist getting you set up.

- The Service Committee shared that over 1,600 personalized holiday cards were collected, well exceeding our 1,105 card goal. The Committee is sorting the cards to distribute to local seniors.
- Rotary Foundation Chair Tony Searing shared that $1,120 was donated to the Rotary Foundation from our membership. Thank you to all who participated.
- The Sunrise Rotary Club extends their thanks for participating in the coat drive they held for JCEO. Over 100 jackets were collected for those in need.
- Curaleaf has donated $3,000 to our Club as a special gift. The Rotary Board will be meeting to discuss how it should be used.

CHRISTMAS BUREAU GIFT DRIVE
Gifts can be dropped off to Vicki at her Booth Drive office, or directly to the Christmas Bureau located in Skyway Shopping Center this year. You can also drop gifts off to Lisa Mesec at the DFCU Operations Center behind the Tom Miller Road branch. Please be sure to attach a note to the gift with the child's name, age, and description you selected so that it can be distributed properly. Please DO NOT wrap the gift.
Supporting Seniors
Each year in December we usually pass around the hat to take a collection for nursing home residents and the servers at the establishment that is hosting our meetings. This year, we will not be doing a collection for the servers but we still would like to do a collection for the nursing homes. Maria Alexander coordinates with facilities to ensure that everyone gets a little something for Christmas. You can send a check to Forrest at 47 Dock Street or you can drop it off to Ellen at Dannemora Federal Credit Union at 342 Tom Miller Road. You can also give Forrest a call to Venmo or use your credit card ( 518-563-1600). Whatever you can do will be greatly appreciated.
ORNAMENT SALES COMMITTEE
The new ornaments are going quickly! This year the ornament has the well known PAFB "Santa on the Plane". Contact Corn Forrence or Jody Maloy to order. They also have past ornaments, for those trying to fill their sets. You can purchase them at both Dannemora Federal Credit Union locations, UFirst Credit Union, and the Senior Citizens Council.
CHANGES TO ROTARY DUES
The Rotary Dues Statements will be going out November 1st and will be due December 1st. This change will enable Carmen Carpentier and Anne Cutaiar to make the necessary changes, to our membership roster, before we receive the District Billing Statement. Please advise Carmen or Anne, if you will not be continuing your Rotary membership for any reason or if your payment will be late. Members will be removed from the roster on December 15th, if dues are not up to date.
HOLIDAY MEAL PROGRAM
2020 marks the 14th year that our Rotary Club has helped needy families in Clinton County. The Plattsburgh Rotary Club's Holiday Meal Program is co-sponsored with J.C.E.O.
A list of needy families will be available from JCEO and Rotarians wishing to participate can sign up and commit to supplying all of the necessary ingredients for a holiday meal for a local family. JCEO will provide us with a list of needy families, number of adults and children in the family, home address and telephone number. Family assignments will be emailed to you around December 10th.
A list of suggested food items will be sent to you.
If you decide that you don't want to do the food shopping for a family, you can consider using Insta-Cart for purchasing and delivering the meal items. A third option is to purchase a Food Card from Walmart, not a gift card. The cards can be loaded with any amount from $20 - $100. The cards can be used to purchase a turkey or ham and the balance can be used to purchase produce, etc.
Membership Committee
Membership will be meeting on December 16. If you are sponsoring a potential new member, please touch base with Bob Parks or Courtney DeLaura to make sure they have the new member information that is needed.
