HOLD September 10 for Battle of plattsburgh festivities
Two signature events, The Bed Race and the Roducky Derby are quickly approaching. Please mark your calendar for Sept. 10 to lend a hand during these fun-filled Battle of Plattsburgh events.
Roducky sales continue to waddle along with a new sale location at Downtown Rising on Friday. We will be selling ducks at the mall on Saturday, 9/3 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please consider helping out.
The Bed Race Committee would like sponsors to consider creating their own team to run the race this year rather than relying on the college students. Team members could be your employees, children, friends, etc. - get out there and have fun!
Kit Booth is recruiting parade marshals - please see him to sign up.
Call for Paul Harris Nominations
Nominations are being sought for the annual Paul Harris awards and will be accepted through September 7th to Rosemary Souza-Botten. The dinner is scheduled for October 5th at the Butcher Block.
New Member Orientation
There will be a new member orientation on Friday, Sept 9 at 8 a.m. at 53 Court Street. If you are a new member and have not attended an orientation yet, please plan to join us.
Bike Ride Committee
Volunteers and participants are needed for this first-time event. Stay tuned for an online registration opening soon and mark your calendar for October 1st, 9 a.m. and like and share the Facebook page.
