Rotary Committee Meeting Schedule
Please note: All Committee Meetings will be virtual until further notice.
Rotary Board Meeting - The next Rotary Board meeting will be Monday, March 21 at noon. This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 3rd Monday of every month at noon.
Program Committee - This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 1st Monday of every month at noon. The next meeting is April 4th.
Service Committee - The next Service Committee meeting will be Wednesday, April 6th. This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 1st Wednesday of every month at 11:00am.
Membership Committee - This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 11:00am. The next meeting is April 13th.
Safety Committee - Carol Arnold and Theresa Hayden will be giving weekly safety updates & reminders. Suggestions and new members are welcome, please contact Carol or Theresa.
Environmental Committee - This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 1st Thursday of each month at noon. The next meeting is April 7th.
New Member Orientation - Next orientation is Friday, March 25th at 8 am. This is a requirement to move from Red to Blue Badge. Orientation will be held in person at Steve Kende’s office, 53 Court St. Please e-mail Steve Kende to let him know you are attending.
Other Club Updates
Hybrid Meetings to Return on Wednesday, April 6th
As cases have begun to fall, we will begin to meet again for in-person meetings at MHAB on Wednesday, April 6th. We will continue to offer the option to join in via Zoom. Please note that you will still be required to order your lunch in advance. Club Assembly will also take place on April 6.
United Way Day of Caring
Mark your calendars for the United Way Day of Caring taking place on Saturday, April 23rd. Our Service and Environmental committees are putting together a project for the day - details to come soon!
How Can you help Ukraine?
Rotary is accepting donations for the Disaster Response in Ukraine via the Disaster Response fund. Contributions to Disaster Response are temporarily being prioritized for districts impacted by the Ukraine crisis. Unspent funds will be available to any Rotary districts for Disaster Response grants.
All Donations made online at Disaster Response Fund – My Rotary, including the use of available district designated funds (DDF), need to be received by April 30, 2022. Grant applications to take advantage of the funds will be available now through June 30, 2022. This will be the primary avenue for Rotary Foundation Support.
Food Shelf
The Club is accepting donations to the Rotary Club's Food Shelf program. Please send any amount you can spare via check, credit card or Venmo. Read below for more information on how to donate.

Everyone should have received their dues invoice. If you have paid your dues but it has not updated in Club Runner, please let Nicole know. If you are not planning to renew membership, please let President Nicole or Forrest Edwards know.

District Conference
Let’s Meet Again - Rencontrons-nous à nouveau - Are you counting the days until you can meet again? You have friends in USA or Canada that you have not met in person for over a year and a half – they’re waiting for you too! The Ottawa Conference & Event Centre on Coventry Road in Ottawa is the location where we will be “Reaching Out” and meeting for the Rotary District Conference on May 6 & 7, 2022.
Registration cost start at $150 for new Rotarians, $200 for Rotarians, and Rotaractors $75. Book now to avoid the price increase on January 1.

Anne Cutaiar tracks attendance. Please contact her if you do not see yourself on the roster or you were sharing a Zoom connection with someone. You can check your attendance record on Club Runner under the My Attendance tab. If you watch or listen to a previous weekly meeting and want to get a makeup, please notify Anne Cutaiar (anne@lakechamplaintravel.com) via email and include your name, email address, the weekly meeting date you watch and how long you watched/listened.
