Congratulations to Stan & Chris Ransom who will be the Parade Grand Marshalls this year for the Battle of Plattsburgh! They are being honored in recognition for all of their efforts to coordinate the BOP Kids Village for the past 17 years.
September 9 - we need you for Bed Race help, Roducky Derby fun and parade marshaling - sign up at upcoming meetings.
Roducky Derbyupdate: We have already raised over $4,500 and there are 30+ corporate ducks sold to date!
The Bed Race Committee has met their sponsorship goal! Brochures and posters are now available. The committee is looking for community teams to sign up for a chance to win the prize money. The cost is $75 per team if you rent a Rotary bed.
The next quarterly meeting with the Sunrise Club is scheduled for 12Noon, upstairs at the Strand on August 31. All are welcome.
The 2017 District 7040 Conference is September 29 & 30 at the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino. Please consider attending or at least taking part in a bike ride to eradicate polio. Spin, ride, whatever - just get moving and get sponsors. See Bonnie Black for more details.
