Paint the Mural
Thanks to all those who have signed up to paint the mural in downtown Plattsburgh next week and to those who have come out today as well.
Painting is still anticipated to happen rain or shine next week, so the times for Monday and Wednesday next week stand unless the weather is particularly poor. An advisory will be sent out if so.
Reminder: You will be assigned a small section to paint. There are other volunteers, including local students and such. So the time of actual painting may be 10-15 min. The aim is to have as many folks in the community as possible be a part of the wall.
Please note, too, the bright blue block on the right side. That is where the Rotary wheel, club names and four-way test will go.
The Sunrise Club is looking for some volunteers for specific tasks during Mayor's Cup. If you are able to sign up for one of the below, please e-mail Nicole Laurin (nlaurin@jceo.org) and include which task, time and your phone number so I can share this info with the Sunrise Club as they finish organizing and planning.
Saturday, July 8th 12-4- Assist with welcoming, directing and surveying attendees (there will be a tent as people drive in where they are just asking if they are there for Mayor's Cup or the beach, how did they hear about it etc.), walk around (preferably wearing Rotary gear) and be available for directing people, answering questions about the schedule and where things are happening etc.
Saturday, July 8th 4-5ish-Cleanup crew
