Bronze Award
Our Club is the recipient of the District 7040 Environmental Sustainability Commitment Bronze Award! Our Club was recognized for this award because we:
- Devoted at least two club meetings to environmental sustainability
- Have participated in at least two environmental initiatives in the past two years, and
- We initiated a project with an environmental sustainability component or focus.
Let’s keep it up and go for silver!
First Thursdays Needs Hosts
The First Thursdays planning team is looking for hosts. If you'd like to welcome Rotarians into your home, barn or other location for some fellowship, please reach out to Vicki Marking. Remember, it does not have to be a Thursday or the first week of the month.
Snow Days
Remember, if the city schools are closed due to inclement weather, our Rotary meeting will also be cancelled.
Bylaws & Constitution
Keep an eye out for an email from President Ken with updated Rotary bylaws and constitution for your review. The board has approved changes to be brought to full membership and members will vote at our Feb. 8 meeting. Thank you to Bonnie Black and Rosemary Souza-Botten for their work on these items.
Food Shelf
The holiday campaign for the food shelf raised $2,071 and Rollie McGee raised over $600 of that himself! Collection teams will be greeting members monthly to continue collections
