The Rotary Club's membership committee and board of directors unanimously approved the corporate membership proposal for Coryer Staffing (Ramp Program) and four individual proposals - David Coryer, Ann Mazzella, Jen Gelay and Rachel Danis. They were sponsored by Vicki Marking.
Coryer Staffing (Ramp Program) - Company owners and employees volunteer and occupy various board seats including Community Action Angels and the United Way of the North Country. Also, Coryer Staffing meets with M.H.A.B. residents weekly or as often as requested.
David Coryer is Co-Founder and COO of Coryer Staffing Corporation. He has been active with many community organizations and fundraisers.
He looks forward to working with Rotary and his community service projects.
Ann E. Mazzella is a Career Counselor at Coryer Staffing/RAMP. She has lived in the Plattsburgh area since 1990. Together with her husband Christopher and their five children, they have been involved in community service through the United Way, Mission of Hope, St. Augustine's Soup Kitchen and the St. Francis Inn in Philadelphia. Ann has 30 years experience as a teacher and her job provides the opportunity to engage with students, parents, the educational community and community leaders to improve the quality of life for underserved families.
Rachel Danis is a RAMP employee at Coryer Staffing and has been involved with community service and volunteer work. She has helped with local job fairs. She would like to become involved with our Rotary Club and help with community projects and fundraisers.
Jen Gelay is a RAMP Career Counselor at Coryer Staffing. She moved to Plattsburgh in 2015 and has become active in the Cumberland Head Elementary School. She has volunteered on P.T.O. and became its President. Jen was a Tiger and Bear Cub Scout leader for Pack/Troop 46. She would like to help with volunteer and community outreach programs.
