Bringing Holiday Joy

Thank you to everyone who participated in the annual Holiday Meal Program again this year.  In partnership with JCEO and the Senior Citizens Council, 36 families will be helped this year!
 
Over 1,000 holiday cards were collected and distributed throughout our local nursing homes. Thank you for being part of this special project.
 
Special thanks to everyone who brought in a gift to the Christmas Bureau this year!
 
Please be sure to turn in your volunteer time to Anne Cutaiar so she can track participation hours for the Club.

Rotary Holiday Ornaments

The 2021 Rotary Ornaments of Clare and Carl's are going fast!  If you would like one, contact Cornelia Forrence, Jody Maloy, or Maria Alexander.  We also have a limited number of sets for sale that include prior years. 

Rotary Ski Day

Join in the fun of Rotary Ski Day 2022.  If you're interested in participating, let John Bernardi know so he can find a date that will work for most.

Dues are Due

Everyone should have received their dues invoice recently.  If you are not planning to renew membership, please let President Nicole or Forrest Edwards know prior to December 29.

Rotary Foundation

The Rotary Foundation Committee is looking for new members!  Contact Tony Searing if you are able to join or want to learn more.  Don't forget to support the Rotary Foundation with an end of year gift.  You can give online here.

Food Shelf

The Club is accepting donations to the Rotary Club's Food Shelf program. Please send any amount you can spare via check, credit card or Venmo. Read below for more information on how to donate.

Zoom Attendance & Makeups
Anne Cutaiar tracks attendance. Please contact her if you do not see yourself on the roster or you were sharing a Zoom connection with someone. You can check your attendance record on Club Runner under the My Attendance tab.  If you watch or listen to a previous weekly meeting  and want to get a makeup, please notify Anne Cutaiar (anne@lakechamplaintravel.com) via email and include your name, email address, the weekly meeting date you watch and how long you watched/listened.

Rotary Committee Meeting Schedule

Please note: All Committee Meetings will be virtual until further notice. 
Rotary Board Meeting - The next Rotary Board meeting will be Monday, December 20th, at noon.  This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 3rd Monday of every month at noon. 
Environmental Committee - The Committee meets the first Thursday of every month at Noon via Zoom.
Program Committee - This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 1st Monday of every month. 
Service Committee -  This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 1st Wednesday of every month. 
Membership Committee -  This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 2nd Wednesday of every month. 
Safety Committee - Carol Arnold and Theresa Hayden will be giving weekly safety updates & reminders.  Suggestions and new members are welcome, please contact Carol or Theresa.

Plattsburgh Rotary Meetings Are Virtual Until Further Notice

Due to an increase in confirmed cases of the Delta-variant of COVID-19, the weekly meetings of the Rotary Club of Plattsburgh will be held virtually on ZOOM for the next couple of weeks. Zoom meetings will begin at noon. The Board of Directors will review its decision on a weekly basis whether to continue broadcasting based on the COVID-19 situation locally and statewide.
