2019 Rotary Bed Race
This year the Bed Race will take place on Saturday, September 14th at 11:00am. We woudl like to get together for our first committee planning meeting of the season. We will meet Wednesday, May 22nd at 11:30am before the weekly Rotary meeting. We are hoping you can join us!
RoDucky Season is about to open!
The RoDucky Committee is back from a one year rest and ready to roll. Ed Kirby and Justin Ihne will lead the RoDucky committee this year and are looking for you to help! A 15 minute organizational meeting is scheduled for June 5th right after the Rotary meeting.

Congratulations to Ed Kirby who was present with the Past RI President Cliff Dochterman Award for a Rotarian's distinguished and outstanding dedication to Scouting. We are proud of you Ed!
Paul Harris
Save the date for the Paul Harris Dinner which is scheduled for June 12. Kyle Brister is being recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow and Ellen Bouchard is receiving receiving a 5 Sapphire Pin for continuing service to Rotary after being named a Paul Harris Fellow previously. Peter Gallagher is also being named a Paul Harris Fellow posthumously. There will be no lunch meeting on June 12th. More details to follow.
Community Service Committee News
The Community Service Committee is meeting the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 11:00am at Valcour Brewing (next meeting is June 12th). Contact Ryan Lee if you have any questions.
The Camp Jericho clean up date has been rescheduled to the fall. There is a Community Clean Up at Jericho on June 1st if anyone is interested in helping out.
Plattsburgh Hunger Games
Our Rotary Club is co-sponsoring the first Plattsburgh Hunger Games on June 8th at the Oval. We are looking for volunteers for the following:
10:00am-11:30am Set-up
11:30am-2:00pm & 2:00pm-4:00pm Timers, Check-in and Field Team
6:00pm-7:00pm Breakdown
New Member Orientation
The next new member orientation is scheduled for Friday June 7th 8:00am at 53 Court Street. Remember - you must attend an orientation session to move from Red Badge to Blue Badge. See Steve Kende if you have any questions.
