The drawing date for the Vacation Raffle has been moved to Wednesday, October 13th or sooner if all the tickets are sold. We currently have $4000 in tickets out to Rotarians and we need to make sure that everything sold will be turned in.
We really need your help to either sell or buy your tickets. Please let Ellen Bouchard as soon as what the status is of your ticket sales.
It is not too late to post your tickets and status on your social media. The tickets sell themselves. Make sure to let them know the drawing date has been shifted when you post.
Small Gifts Application Season Open!
The Plattsburgh Rotary Club is announcing a request for proposals from local organizations to benefit our community. The Club is asking that all requests for this Rotary year be submitted for review by October 29, 2021.
The Club has a limited amount of money to be distributed to local organizations and therefore, the maximum grant that can be received is $500. These grants are given to organizations serving a larger population and a greater good, not to an individual. All grants are given toward special projects and not for the general operations of the organization or for fundraising. Specific events such as walks, golf tournaments, etc. will not be considered. Special funding is available for Youth-At-Risk programs that positively impact individuals under the age of 18. For questions, please email Kerry Haley.

Help our friends in Haiti
Bonnie Black updated the club on the status of Haiti relief. Aide has been coming in, but more is needed. She reminded us that Rotary is NOT a First Responder - we shine in medium and long term involvement. We give communities sustainability, developing communities for the long term. With that being said Haiti has a vibrant economy on the other side of the island, so cash donations are what is needed at this time. Supplies can be purchased and shipped from within Haiti. Donations can be made via Paypal @DNA-RAG. Rotary ACtion Group in Disaster Network of ASsistance can provide tax receipts for donations made via Paypal.
