Club Information & Resources

Rotary Participation Poker - Message from our President

Yes, the rumors are true. There's a new exciting game for all club members and you don't want to miss out on the fun! I announced the new game/incentive at the 9/20 meeting and I'm calling it "Rotary Participation Poker".

The rules are simple:
  • For the next six (6) weeks, starting 9/20, Rotarians will receive 1 poker card for each Wednesday meeting attended. Only Wednesday meetings will count at this time.
  • For every guest brought to a meeting, the sponsoring Rotarian will receive an extra poker card (i.e. Bring a guest, receive 2 cards. Bring 2 guests, receive 3 cards).
  • At the Wednesday meeting scheduled for 10/25, Rotarians will have the opportunity to present their best 5-card poker hand for an opportunity to win a special prize!
  • You can trade cards with another Rotarian if you wish.
  • If you lose a card, you cannot replace it. Keep close care of your poker cards and don't attempt to purchase a replacement card (IS IT THE TRUTH?).
What's the Prize?! Let's just say, I have a nice woodworking shop :-)

I hope you have fun with this game and, ultimately, I hope our club continues to grow in numbers and participation.

Thank you,
Ryan
