This year marks 30 years that women have been in Rotary. Last week, District Gov. Sue Bellor presented President Maria with a special pin to mark the anniversary.

September 9 - we need you for Bed Race help, Roducky Derby fun and parade marshalling - sign up at upcoming meetings.
Roducky Derbyupdate: We have already raised over $4,100! There are 27 corporate ducks sold to date - we need three more to get to the goal of 30. Save the date – we will need volunteers to sell ducks at Downtown Rising on August 19 from 9am to 2pm and from 10am to 2pm at the mall on August 27. Thank you Northeast Printing for the posters!
The Bed Race Committee has met their sponsorship goal! Brochures and posters are now available. The committee is looking for community teams to sign up for a chance to win the prize money. The cost is $75 per team if you rent a Rotary bed.
Are you bringing in a potential new member? Please remember to be a gracious host by being present when they arrive to the meeting and if you can't make it, please find someone to host in your place.
The 2017 District 7040 Conference is September 29 & 30 at the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino. Please consider attending or at least taking part in a bike ride to eradicate polio. Spin, ride, whatever - just get moving and get sponsors. See Bonnie Black for more details.
