Sunrise Rotary News

The Sunrise Rotary Club has moved its meeting location to SUNY Au Sable Hall Room 114. They meet at 7:30am on Tuesdays and breakfast is not available.
 
 
RYLA
The RYLA Conference is scheduled for 5/24-5/26 at RKY Camp in Parham, Ontario. 
 
To send a student to RYLA, there are several steps our club must follow. If you would like to be part of the RYLA committee, please Ryan to confirm your interest. We will set up an initial meeting to organize and take action toward the necessary steps of selecting a student (or two) who can attend.

Club Runner

The Rotary Calendar for our Club can be added to your google calendar.  Please refer an email from Keith on January 4th on how to do this.  Please contact Keith Tyo or Amanda Prescott for help.

Rotary Fishing Tournament
The Rotary Fishing Classic will be held Friday May 31 to Sunday June 2. Planning begins for the 38th annual Rotary Fishing Classic in earnest with our first committee meeting via Zoom. Peter sent out an email with two times to choose from for the committee meeting - please let Peter know if you can attend either:
 
Wednesday Feb. 7 at 4:00 p.m. 
Friday Feb. 9 at 2:00 p.m.

Member Spotlights

Sandy Young-Brady will be rolling out a new way to highlight our members with the Rotary Member Spotlight.  She will be reaching out to members to get some facts about who you are and why you're in Rotary and will share that on our social media platforms.

Rotary Board Meeting - The next Rotary Board meeting is Wednesday Feburary 19th (this date may be rescheduled due to the holiday).  This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 3rd Monday of every month at noon and will meet in-person. The location is MHAB.
 
 
Program Committee - This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 1st Monday of every month.  The next meeting is March 4th at noon at MHAB. 
 
Service Committee - The next Service Committee meeting will be Wednesday, March 6th.  This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 1st Wednesday of every other month at 11:00am. 
 
Membership Committee - This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 11:00am.  The next meeting will be February 13th.
 
Environmental Committee - This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 1st Thursday of each month at noon. The next meeting will take place virtually on March 7th.

Anne Cutaiar tracks attendance. Please contact her if you do not see yourself on the roster. You can check your attendance record on Club Runner under the My Attendance tab.  If you watch or listen to a previous weekly meeting  and want to get a makeup, please notify Anne Cutaiar (anne@lakechamplaintravel.com) via email and include your name, email address, the weekly meeting date you watch and how long you watched/listened.
