Friend of the Club, Tom Regan, passed away in August. Tom was a frequent guest of Sara Chase who would bring him over from Pine Harbour.
Hosts
On September 7, The Strand will host a First Thursday event. The Club is looking for hosts for First Thursdays. If you're interested, email Vicki Marking.
Bed Race
The annual Rotary Bed Race is taking place Saturday, Sept. 9 at 11am. Volunteers are needed! Please contact Vicki if you are interested in assisting.
Parade Marshals
Parade Marshals are still needed for the Battle of Plattsburgh Parade. Marshals will assist with the “spacing and pacing” of units in the parade on September 9th. Volunteers will meet in front of the Elks Club on Cumberland Avenue at 12:20 PM for assignments and safety meeting.

(NOTE: Volunteering for the Rotary Bed Race will not interfere with being a Parade Marshal. The Bed Race finishes before the parade.)
Sell Your Raffle Tickets
Our Club will be drawing the winner of our annual raffle at the Battle of Plattsburgh. In order to make a profit for our Club - we need members to sell outstanding tickets and turn in the $. Contact Ellen Bouchard for questions and please - sell, sell, sell!
Fishing Tourney Success
Peter Cadieux announced that the Fishing Tournament raised $8,500 for the Club this year. Well done by all!
Rotaract Club Gathering
Rotarians are invited to Meet and Mingle with future Rotaract Members:
September 13 at the Rockwell Kent Gallery in Feinberg Library at SUNY Plattsburgh
This will be a drop-in reception from 4-7pm.
Visitors of the Rockwell Kent Gallery, located in the Feinberg Library, can enter via the main library doors. Before visiting, please pre-register (see below) your vehicle to ensure you will not get a ticket. Please park in parking lots 8 and 28, as they are the closest access to the gallery.

Rotary Board Meeting - The next Rotary Board meeting is Monday, September 18. This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 3rd Monday of every month at noon and will meet in-person. The location is MHAB.
Program Committee - This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 1st Monday of every month. The next meeting is Sept. 11 at noon at MHAB.
Service Committee - The next Service Committee meeting will be Wednesday, Sept. 13. This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 1st Wednesday of every month at 11:00am.
Membership Committee - This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 11:10am. The next meeting will be Sept. 13.
Environmental Committee - This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 1st Thursday of each month at noon. The next virtual meeting is Sept. 7 .
