New Member proposal

The following membership proposal for Justin Ihne was unanimously passed by the Plattsburgh Rotary Club's Membership Committee and Board of Directors.

Justin Ihne is the new CEO at the Plattsburgh YMCA. He was a member of the North Adams, Massachusetts Rotary Club from 2010 through 2014. Justin has volunteered throughout his YMCA career with the Food Kitchen, highway cleanups, beautification projects, kids’ parades and working with leadership training groups.

Justin is being sponsored by Amy Kretser.

If any members have suggestions, concerns, or allergy issues with the meals served at the meeting please let Peter Ensel or Bob Smith know so that it can be addressed.

shelter box donation

The Board of Directors has recently approved a donation of $10,000 to be administered by Rotary International to purchase Shelter Boxes for the Syrian Refugee crisis.

TP & Paper towels

If you know a not-for-profit who could use toilet paper and paper towels, reach out to the United Way. Thanks to a great partnership with Georgia Pacific, there is a limited supply available for free. UW office number is 563-0028.
