KIWANIS TO JOIN ROTARY FOR LUNCH
We will enjoy the company of the Kiwanis Club on Wednesday, November 23rd.
LOCALLY MADE POTTERY TO BE AUCTIONED OFF AT NEXT MEETING
Three more pieces of locally made pottery will be auctioned off at the November, 16th meeting. The beautiful pieces would make a wonderful Christmas gift! Proceeds to benefit the Food Shelf.
ROTARY FOUNDATION
Triple your giving with Paul Harris Fellow Recognition Points throughout the month of November - Foundation Month - if you are a part of Rotary Direct giving or enroll before November 20th in Rotary Direct!
Let's say you currently give $25 per month through Rotary Direct or you enroll before November 20th to do so; that means our District will credit 50 recognition points for November to your accrual toward a Paul Harris Fellow for a total of 75 points between your giving and the District's match.
If you give $85 per month (the level at which you can become a member of the Paul Harris Society), then the District will credit you with 170 in points for a total of 255.

Steve Frederick will be continuing with the annual envelope drive for the Foundation. Envelopes will be distributed in the coming weeks.
NOVEMBER BOARD MEETING
The November meeting of the board of directors will take place at noon on Monday, November 21st in the Adirondack Room of the Butcher Block. This can be used as a makeup and can be used for the requirement for red to blue badge.
CHRISTMAS BUREAU GIFTS AND COLLECTIONS COMING UP
On Wednesday, November 16th, Vicki Marking will be passing around the note cards with toy requests for the Christmas Bureau. Rotarians are encouraged to take one of the cards and purchase the requested toy. The toy will be given as a gift to an area child.
In addition we will begin our annual collection for area nursing homes, the Butcher Block staff, and the Salvation Army this week.
BELL RINGING FOR SALVATION ARMY
On Friday. November 25th from 9am to 4 pm, we will be helping with the annual bell ringing for the Salvation Army. A sign up sheet will be passed around on November 16th.
