June 26th was President Jack Helfgott's Last week as president.
Jack's year as president was full of personal growth and he was thankful for all the assistance he received throughout the 2018-2019 Rotary Year. He gave out these awards:
Peter Gallagher - Rotarian of the Year-For always volunteering his time and talent.
Shelley Fracalossi - Quiet Service-Because she takes on the Exchange/Youth Program almost single handedly
Ryan Lee - Service Above Self-For accepting the position of Community Service Chair and the many projects we have accomplished through his leadership.
Forrest Edwards - Rising Star-Stepping into the Treasurer's position.
Recognized Carmen Carpentier for taking on the Secretary position and assisting him throughout the year.
Foundation Donations
The recent district email, discussed the importance of your donations, and how your contributions are matched by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Tony Searing spoke about donating to the Foundation by personal donations, Foundations fundraisers, and the annual "Brown Envelope". Please continue to give whatever you can to this vital part of Rotary.
RoDucky Season is Open !
The RoDucky Committee is back from a one year rest and ready to roll. Ed Kirby and Justin Ihne will lead the RoDucky committee this year and are looking for you to help!
