Vacation Raffle-We Need Your Help!
One of our principal ideals is to help our community financially, and we do this through fundraising events and projects. We started selling our Win/Win raffle tickets at the end of June, and we started out with a bang. But currently, we have almost $9000 in Rotarian's hands with unsold tickets, and sadly, way too many are being returned unsold. We only have a week left. If you are a seasoned member, you know how important our funding is, and if you are a new member, we have many local organizations that really depend on our support. We help everyone in our community, from our children to our seniors.
Please sell or buy your tickets. Help us become successful! If you need more tickets, Anna can help. If you see a fellow Rotarian post it on Facebook and share other people's posts.
Battle of Plattsburgh:
Parade Marshals
Annually, Rotarians serve as parade marshals for the BOP event. This year's event is Saturday, Sept. 14 (signing up will not conflict with the bed race). Marshals will meet at 12:15pm near the Elks Club (Durand Street & Cumberland Avenue) for safety instructions and assignments. Parade marshals help with parade pacing and spacing. Bed Race
The fundraising goal for 2024 has been met! Please promote the event on social media. If you have any local celebrity ideas, share them with Linda Brienza or Vicki Marking.

Rotary Board Meeting - The next Rotary Board meeting is Monday, Sept. 16. This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 3rd Monday of every month at noon and will meet in-person.
Program Committee - This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 1st Monday of the month. The next meeting is Nov. 4 at Noon at MHAB.
Service Committee - The Service Committee will be meeting bi-monthly going forward. It will be the first Wednesday of the months below, 11 am at MHAB.

Membership Committee - This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 11:10am. The next meeting will be September 11.
Environmental Committee - This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 1st Thursday of each month at noon. The next virtual meeting is Sept. 12.
