Rotary Ski Day - This annual club event is scheduled for Wednesday, January 17 and everyone will meet at 9 a.m. in the cafeteria at Whiteface Mountain.

Congratulations to our own Stan Ransom!  Stan was given a citation (a good one!) from the NYS Assembly for his outstanding commitment to service at the Martin Luther King Celebration on Monday.  Assemblyman Billy Jones surprised Stan with this honor.  Thank you Stan for your dedication to service in our community.

Think Fish! We have an opportunity to promote the Rotary Fishing Derby at the Sportsman Classic January 19-21 at the Champlain Valley Expo.  Do you have a few hours this weekend to promote the derby to sports lovers at this event?  If so, please reach out to Bonnie or Peter. 

The Motor Cycle Raffle has begun.  Tickets are $20 each and the committee is asking each Rotarian to purchase or sell 10 tickets.  Booth sales at Champlain Centre have been scheduled for January 20th and 21st. The motorcycle will be on display in the mall too.  Contact Vicki Marking if you are available to spend and hour or two selling tickets at the mall.

Rotary Board Meeting is scheduled for Monday January 22nd at noon at the Butcher Block.  Red Badges need to attend a board meeting to move on to a Blue Badge.  This is always a great opportunity to learn more about the business of Rotary.  

New Member Orientation - the next session for new members will be the last Friday of January (1/26) at 8 a.m. at 56 Court Street.
