NATIONAL HOSPITAL WEEK
This week is National Hospital Week. Let's let our own local hospital know how much we appreciate them! CVPH is looking for community organizations to sign up for times to line up outside the employee entrance to welcome them for the day. The Service Committee is asking Rotarians to help with the 6:40-7:15am slot on Wednesday 5/13. We need 6-8 people. Please remember to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Wear Rotary apparel if you have it and signs are encouraged. Contact Nicole Laurin for more information or to sign up by Tuesday at 3:00pm @ nlaurin @jceo.org.
ZOOM ATTENDANCE
Ann Cutaiar is working on updating the April attendance. Please contact her if you do not see yourself on the roster or you were sharing a Zoom connection with someone. You can check your attendance record on Club Runner under the My Attendance tab.
ROTARY VACATION RAFFLE
The Rotary Vacation Raffle drawing date has been extended to Wednesday, June 3, 2020. Please try to sell all of your tickets or buy them as this is a very important fundraiser for the Club and we probably will not be able to have any outside sales events like at Sam's Club.
If you have money you can drop it off to:
- Vicki Marking at the PrimeLink office on Booth Drive,
- Hand it in at the first meeting that takes place at MHab, or
- Ellen Bouchard is working from home but you can drop it by her office at Dannemora Federal Credit Union on Tom Miller Road and they will hold it for her.
1st Prize - $5,000 travel certificate from AAA Northway and an AAA Northway Membership
(or $5,000 cash)
2nd Prize - $3,000 travel certificate from AAA Northway and an AAA Northway Membership
(or $3,000 cash)
3rd Prize - A set of luggage
FOOD SHELF
The Club is accepting donations to the Rotary Club's Food Shelf to get the needed resources out to the community via the Interfaith Food Shelf and the Salvation Army. Please send any amount you can spare via check or credit card.
Now thru May 30, we have an anonymous donor who will match all donations to the Food Shelf (up to $600).

FISHING CLASSIC
Plans are still underway for the 2020 Fishing Classic set for June 7th - 9th. Volunteers will be needed to man the weigh stations (please note that you do not have to touch the fish). There are sponsorship opportunities for businesses available. More information to come.
