This Week's New Rotarian -- Amy Kretser
Amy Kretser is the Executive Director of the North Country Association of the Visually Impaired -- a position she has held since 2014. She is an active member of the community serving as Board Chair for the Plattsburgh YMCA, a long standing member of the United Way Campaign Team, and a board member at Beartown Ski Area. She is an active volunteer and enjoys focusing her efforts on helping with unmet needs in the community.

Fishing Tournament Committee
Details and registration are now online for the Rotary Fishing Classic on June 4-6. A press release has gone out. At anglers' requests, weigh stations will be open until 8pm this year. Please consider volunteering with someone from your COVID bubble to fill this extended timeframe. Volunteers will get a fishing tournament t-shirt. Please contact Peter Cadieux with questions.
Roducky & Bed Race Committees
President Ellen met recently with the Battle of Plattsburgh Committee who is planning an event for September 9-12. Our races are tentatively on the schedule but logistics may be a challenge; other options are being considered. Stay tuned for details.

Our club is helping to collect items for the Clinton County Veteran Services Agency to send to a deployed Army Reserve Unit that is overseas. Items will be collected until June 1st and can be dropped off at the ARC building, 9 Industrial Boulevard or to Maria at the Senior Citizens Center on North Catherine Street.

Cut-resistant gloves
Under Armor long-sleeved shirts
Neck gaitors
Baby wipes
Drink mixes
Icy Hot
Hooded sweatshirts and tee shirts
Beef jerky (Sweet Baby Rays brand is a favorite)

Rotarians from other clubs may attend our Zoom Meetings. If you would like to participate via ZOOM, please send an email to the Plattsburgh Club Secretary by 9 a.m. Wednesday morning requesting access. Please include your name, email, and Rotary club you regularly attend in your request to attend.

Anne Cutaiar tracks attendance. Please contact her if you do not see yourself on the roster or you were sharing a Zoom connection with someone. You can check your attendance record on Club Runner under the My Attendance tab. If you watch or listen to a previous weekly meeting and want to get a makeup, please notify Anne Cutaiar (anne@lakechamplaintravel.com) via email and include your name, email address, the weekly meeting date you watch and how long you watched/listened.
