Congratulations to Stan & Chris Ransom who will be the Parade Grand Marshalls this year for the Battle of Plattsburgh! They are being honored in recognition for all of their efforts to coordinate the BOP Kids Village for the past 17 years.
September 9 - we need you for Bed Race help, Roducky Derby fun and parade marshaling - sign up at upcoming meetings.
Roducky Derbyupdate: We have already raised over $5,000 and there are 30+ corporate ducks sold to date. If you have sold ducks, please turn in your order forms ASAP.
The Bed Race Committee has met their sponsorship goal! The group now needs help with crowd control on the day of the event. See a committee member to sign up.
At this week's meeting we will be passing the hat to donate to the Red Cross for hurricane relief.
Thank you to MaryAnne Bulkolt-Ryder who will be hosting First Thursday on September 14. Details to follow.

The 2017 District 7040 Conference is September 29 & 30 at the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino. Please consider attending or at least taking part in a bike ride to eradicate polio. Spin, ride, whatever - just get moving and get sponsors. See Bonnie Black for more details.
