Club Reminders & Updates

Bi-Annual Dues are due now!  Contact Carmen Carpentier or Katie Kingsley, if you have any questions or are not going to renew.

Check the weekly duty roster - Please remember to find a replacement, if you are not able to fill your weekly assigned duty, or be ready to pay a fine.  Also arrive early to fulfill your duty.  Notify Ellen or Carmen with any changes.

Rotary Orientation - 11/16 at 8am, 53 Court Street.  Contact Steve Kende or Chuck Paepke with any questions.

Rotary Board Meeting - 11/19 @ 12:00 Noon at Ground Round.  This meeting is a requirement for Red to Blue badge and can also be used as a makeup.

Rotary Foundation - Steve Frederick has passed out "Brown" envelopes for the Annual Rotary Foundation Collection.  We are looking for 100% participation and collecting until end of November.  Please place something, any amount, in the envelope and return to Steve.  The Rotary Foundation helps people all over the world, including many projects we have sponsored over the years.  Even just $1 will help Steve accomplish his collection goal.  The Foundation Contributions are at 36%, and a total of $2,093 collected, as of 11/7 meeting.

Community Service Project   - Ryan Lee will be looking for volunteers to help replace a handicap access ramp for a local JCEO client.  More info to come.

Youth Exchange - Shelley Fracalossi is looking for host families in the Beekmantown and Peru School Districts for next year.  Prefer a family that has children already attending school.  She needs to find two families from each school district ASAP.

Rotaract - This year's club is active and meeting weekly every Monday at 6 p.m. in Meeting Room 8 of the Angell College Center at SUNY Plattsburgh. You are encouraged to attend the meeting and see what the Rotaract members are up to!

Friendly Reminders:

Jack's Cash - $1 donation for an announcement.  No business commercials.  Announcements are free for Rotary Committee business or Rotary events.

Rotary Pins - Wear your Rotary Pin to each Rotary Meeting.  You should also wear your Rotary Pin when attending Community events.  It's a great way to proudly display you are a Rotarian and a good way to find new members.
