Help in the Office?

The Club is looking for help in the Rotary office.  If you have time to assist Carmen Carpentier and Forrest Edwards, please reach out to Forrest.
 

Rotary Calendar

The Rotary Calendar for our Club can be added to your google calendar.  Keith Tyo is working on this project and will be able to share how to set it up.

 

Member Spotlights

Sandy Young-Brady will be rolling out a new way to highlight our members with the Rotary Member Spotlight.  She will be reaching out to members to get some facts about who you are and why you're in Rotary and will share that on our social media platforms.

Food Shelf Donations

Kyle Brister shared that over $800 has been raised for the local food shelves so far this month and truckloads of food have been delivered.  We have one more meeting this month to accept donations prior to the holidays - please consider giving.

Holiday Meal Program

Our Rotary Club is working with J.C.E.O.  & the Senior Citizen's Council to provide holiday meals to needy families.

This is the 16th year that our club has provided the fixings for a meal or provided a holiday meal gift card to area families.  There are still a few more families in need this year.  If you are interested in adopting a family and providing a nourishing meal, please contact Bob Parks at (518) 578-8195 or by email at bob.parks2016@gmail.com.  

 

Rotary Christmas Ornaments 

This year's ornament is of the Monopole. Grab one for your collection. They make great Christmas gifts! Ornaments are $20 and can be purchased at the meetings or at selected locations throughout the community. 

 
 
For the next few weeks, if you don't pre-order your lunch, Betsy asked that you simply go next door to the MHAB cafe to pick up your lunch. Please contact Betsy if you have any questions.

Rotary Board Meeting - The next Rotary Board meeting is Monday, December 18th. This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 3rd Monday of every month at noon and will meet in-person. The location is MHAB.
 
New Member Orientation - the next orientation is scheduled for Friday, January 5 @ 8 a.m. @ 53 Court Street. Remember this is a requirement to move from red badge to blue badge. Contact Steve Kende with any questions. 
 
Program Committee - This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 1st Monday of every month.  The next meeting is February 5th at noon at MHAB. 
 
Service Committee - The next Service Committee meeting will be Wednesday, January 3.  This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 1st Wednesday of every other month at 11:00am. 
 
Membership Committee - This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 11:00am.  The next meeting will be January 10.
 
Environmental Committee - This meeting is regularly scheduled for the 1st Thursday of each month at noon. The next meeting will take place virtually on January 4.

You can check your attendance record on Club Runner under the My Attendance tab.  If you watch or listen to a previous weekly meeting  and want to get a makeup, please notify Anne Cutaiar (anne@lakechamplaintravel.com) via email and include your name, email address, the weekly meeting date you watch and how long you watched/listened.
