Greetings to all Rotarians and our friends and visitors!

I am about to embark upon a new adventure as the President of the Rotary Club of Plattsburgh New York. I do so with some trepidation, given the incredible job our former President Bonnie Black did over the last year. However, she left the club in extremely good shape for me, so all I must do is keep her momentum going.

There are a few things for which our club takes particular pride. We are a large and growing club, with almost 120 members. And, our members are quite active in the local and the international communities.

We always know we can do more, though. This upcoming year will be one in which we re-double our efforts in youth programs and in our projects for the elderly.

We have also taken on the daunting task of hosting next year's annual District 7040 conference. These various projects allow us to live up to the Rotary ideals and the expectations of a community that has relied on our Rotary chapter for almost 85 years.
